I've never really been one for drum machines. I don't mind electric drums in the right place, but drum machines...?

    BTW...I forgot this one.

Erasure - yeah, they were so gay that they made George Michael sound butch, but they wrote some damn good songs.
There's always one person that goes too far in a thread like this...

        HA!

        My mum loves Erasure.

        I don't.

Although, if I'm honest, "Stop" is stupidly catchy.

My dad was one of the sound men bands on the Liverpool circuit during the early-mid 80s, quite a few people used him at one time or another. His "full time" band were called "Madamn", I think they made 1 EP and split up soon after.

He was also used by Dead or Alive and OMD several times.

He said OMD are the biggest bunch of assholes he's ever met/worked for.

They're actually ona bit of a comeback, at least in Europe.

They're headlining a couple of fair-sized festivals. Including a night at the Liverpool Summer Pops, which sucks this year, BTW.

Last year we had the likes of The Who, Whitesnake, James Brown, The Darkness, Oscar Peterson, and a few others, who escape me right now. And in the past we've had Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Yes, Meat Loaf, Status Quo etc...

This year we have Amy Winehouse, Girls Aloud, James Morrison, McFly, OMD, and more piles of shite that have yet to be announced.

Anything off of Joe Jackson's "Body and Soul", particularly Cha Cha Loco, but I'm not embarrassed to admit it.
