Yes - they would deserve each other.

Sammy "sings" in a Van Halen tribute band so why not "sing" in a Journey tribute band also!

"No Roth - No Van Halen"

    "No Perry - No Journey"

    "No Fish - No Marillion"

HSAS was actually a decent album. Both Hagar and Schon went straight down hill after that.

"Raised on Radio" (1986) and "Trial By Fire" (1996) were great albums and certainly better than "Through The Fire" (1984) from my standpoint.

"Trial By Fire" I think proved that the classic line-up of a band can still do it in the studio after a 10 year hiatus - it's a shame Eddie The Bozo couldn't have done the same this year by getting Dave back on board.

Journey completely sucked ass the minute Jonathan Cain joined the band.

A few copies of "Escape", "Frontiers", "Raised on Radio" & "Trial By Fire" have been sold around the world despite this "Ford".

Forgive my naivety but is there a history to Van Halen fans not liking Perry era Journey?

Surely even you must admit Perry had the best voice in that genre of music whether you personally like it or not.

Just for the record I still won't be visiting the Van Halen or Journey sites until the real singer is back in the band and there's absolutely no Hagar in my house!

Perry wasn't the problem. Infinity, Evolution, and Departure were decent records. Like I said, it was Cain who pussified the band.

Just like he did with The Babys before.

I would love to see Spammy in journey. A long Journey far away from anything Van Halen related. Actually Hagar would be a good frontman for Chicago..

Diamond Dave is the first choice for fans who like other types of music too you know so I think we should agree to disagree on the later Perry Journey albums.

I bet "guwapo_rocker" doesn't rate Rush or Saga either even though they are the best bands ever to originate from Canada.

There's certainly a lot of "friendly fire" in this army so don't forget:

Hagar fans are the mutineers in this brigade!

                              Number One Bands per Country:

USA - Van Halen (w/David Lee Roth) and Cheap Trick
Britain - Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden (w/Bruce Dickinson)
                              Canada - Rush and Saga
"Dave, these motherfuckers are out of line!!!"
