I got this in 1981 the only time I saw him play.

He was touring in support of his only major label release "Millionaire".

At the end of the set, he performed the title track, and threw handfulls of these bills out into the crowd.

He used to be a big time Hendrix impersonator (or rip off), right down to the Afro and headband.

well he sounds similar to Jimi.

He is alive and well, and plays a few shows a year in the NW, and plays every year in Europe.

He did the afro thing when he was doing his Hendrix tribute.

Nowadays he just plays Hendrix material along with his own.

Physically, he looks like Jimi. So in his tribute days, in addition to the afro, he would also apply black makeup.

The thing is, aside from the Hendrix thing...he is the single greatest guitar showman I have ever seen in my life.

He is an astonishing player, and an amazing performer onstage.

He is one of the most underrated and undermentioned guitarists on the planet.

If anyone deserves to be a household name in the rock world, it should be him.

I ran right out to find his album- Champaign and Cocaine was one of the songs ...he was one the Mercury Label

Actually , pretty fucking good guitarist !!!

The songs were average.

He could nail Jimi as good as Trower but, had his own guitar voice.
