I think Opeth’s Anti (Bush administration) American comments are rather consistent with most European’s opinions. I’m sorry to say but Bush JR is quite a laughing stock on this side of the pond. And to make such comments to that crowd, in the middle of redneck land, is in my book quite gutsy. On the other hand I don’t get why they would make those comments, they are there to entertain their audience not insult them, after all they are musicians not politicians.

I think Opeth are a band you either love or hate: most of the people who hate them haven't spent the time needed to really appreciate their music, you have to spend time with their albums in order to really get them.
