The Faces, by at least a football field. They also covered Free's "The Stealer", "If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Right" (a hit for Luther Ingram), John Lennon's "Jealous Guy", Jimi Hendrix' "Angel" and the Temptations' "I Wish It Would Rain", all in versions that were equal to or surpassed the originals.

If you are unfamiliar with the band, this album is a great place to start, as it is simply one of the finest boxed sets ever assembled. The band's keyboard player Ian McLagan put it together while finishing off the remains of his liquor cabinet one night. And that is a terrific way to spend an evening listening to this music.

Great box set. Had to get that one the day it was released. Even if you own all the Faces studio albums there's still a lot material in the box that you won't find elsewhere.
