Saw him (gosh it must be 8 years ago?) on a greatest hits
type deal in Sydney.... BORING !!
Seriously, it was so bad people were leaving halfway through.
I saw Ozzy around the same time and he blew Alice away.
    (If you want a comparison)

Big disappointment for me as I've always been a fan
and had high expectations after some of the older
live shows I watched on video. I remember one where
he builds a robot that came to life, they played that
whole concert live one New Years Eve in Oz.
It was awesome !! That would have been in the
    mid 80's Im guessing...

Were the shows you saw more recent than 8 years ago ?
BABY PANA 2 IS Coming !! All across the land, let the love and beer flow !
    Love ya Mary Frances!

No, the show you saw was the Constrictor tour in 1986...

It was aired here on Halloween...Kip Winger was on bass...

The shows I mentioned were the next year for the next album, Raise Your Fist and Yell...

He still did the Robot thing and all his theatrics, but the band was way tighter and Alice was much better...

The show you saw on TV was one of the first shows he ever did sober and he said he was nervous as hell...

BTW, a good Alice Cooper album that is basically unknown is Brutal Planet from the late 90's...

        Everyone should own this...

This isn't the best song on the album, but it's cool...

          Sanctuary...

The rest of the album is heavier than that...

BTW, it was released in 2000

'70's Alice rocks and drools, take that Iggy!

And don't even mention Marilyn Manson in the same breath...
