I was surprised that the packaging was so elaborate. Nice touch indeed. He's been touring all of '08 and he plans to tour on the album too. He'll be releasing another signature guitar too. A blueburst. Marketing machine is rolling!

Gonna take up a lot of shelf space at the retailers for sure. The design of the packaging is "end cap" type stuff. Usually you only see that type of roll out for huge bands like U2, Green Day, etc... Bands that the retailers want to showcase at the end of the aisle. Maybe some of these young kids getting into older rock due to Guitar Hero & such will pick it up out of curiosity.

It's excellent! Very much like the Ace you'd expect, which is a good thing. His Fractured Quantum at the end is lovely. Just fun Ace rock.

Been listening to this all week and it is by far Ace's best body of work since his 78 solo album. If you can get past one or two filler tracks and the unnecessary cover of 'Fox On The Run' this disc is awesome. Ace really has progressed as a song writer, especially if you use the dreadful 'Into The Void' as a recent yard stick. Not crazy about the new 'Fractured' song, but Space Bear and Ghengis Khan (instrumental for the most part) are great. If you were ever a KISS fan back in the day, try to find this one and pick it up.

Agree about "Space Bear" and "Genghis Khan". I larve "Too Many Faces" too.

Funny thing is I'd love Ace play some slide guitar on that one.

I don't get the song "A little below angels". Is he a christian preacher now?

Btw I've got the tickets to see AIR (french electronic pop) on December the first and ACE on December the second. A small difference in athmosphere and crowd I guess...
