The Dickies did their share of covers as well. I still have this 45. You get the impression that they played an old Moody Blues album at 45 rpm instead of 33.

This is the theme from a cartoon I watched as a child in the sixties.

I'll take the Dickies version of Nights in White Satin over the original time. Curious where that version of Gigantor comes from though. Every live Dickies recording I ever heard sounded like crap, but not that one.

These bums weren't too shabby when it came to playin' a cover or two. True to his word, Dave only learned a bit of the words, but he did learn the tune.

I wondered about that as well. It could be a fake, because with the exception of the guitars being mixed differently, it pretty much sounds like the studio version I have on Great Dictations.
