    They really took the song a step down, didn't they...

    Of course, I'd rather hear it played like this than have Plant attempt to hit the high notes unsuccessfully.....

        You are absolutely right, literally.
        Musically that whole show was played a whole step down. Unfortunately he still gagged on some of the high notes.

        Stairway is in the key of Am, but it's Gm here.

        Even in the old days Plant didn't hit the high notes in Over the Hills and Far Away. But on their West was Won collection there's a live version where he does and boy is it amazing.

          66 years old, and heavy rock/metal is still going strong. Can't think of many other genres of popular music that gives the older generation as many props....

                The dvd was ok. The Edge seemed cool even though I can't stand his music, Jack White seemed like an ass !! He has talent but...... Not impressed. Page was cool on it, all of his part's were the most interesting. White think's he is the Johnny Depp of guitar or something !!
