I don't really find Trash to be a bad album. Some good songs. Some hits. It was pretty much the kind of hard rock being put out by lots of bands at that point. Hey Stoopid was a superior album! Although I always hated the title.Stay Frosty, muthas!Comment

I'm down with just about all of the Alice stuff. He should get a ton of credit for reinventing himself in the mid 80's. When Constrictor came out and he was doing the Friday the 13th soundtrack as well as the Halloween MTV special, i tripped out on how he just came out of nowhere after some years of obscurity. Constrictor was ok but i thought Raise Your Fist and Yell was a damn good album. Then Trash came out and i thought it was fair. Hey Stoopid was a very underrrated album as was Last Temptation. I find myself listening to those two records a lot more than the others. What really blew my mind was Brutal Planet. I thought that was the end all be all. It was heavier than anything he had done before and it was killer. To me that was like his 4th or 5th time reinventing himself. Dragontown was pretty killer as well but not quite as solid as BP. I didn't care too much for Dirty Diamonds or Eyes of Alice because he went back to more of a straight ahead 70's sound, but a lot of his core fans liked those 2 records. I guess it just depends on what you like. At the end of the day, Alice Cooper ended up having many different sounds and having played in several different genres. No matter what your mood is you can go pick out an Alice record that fits. He is a first ballot hall of famer if there ever was one.RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE

Saw some pictures and a brief clip of 'I'M Eighteen' from the R&R HOF Ceremony... looks like Dunaway would be the only keeper from the old band... have his autograph hanging on the wall of my office at work (right next to the Paul Stanley autograph that Wooda got me from a NAMM session).Comment

It will be good. Just won't be WTMY good. To be honest, among Alice albums WTMN has never been near the top of my list. It's a great record but it's also not even close to albums like Love it To Death and Killer or BDB.Stay Frosty, muthas!Comment
