Very underrated album.....blows away their first album........and on a seperate note relating to Zeppelin, Jason Bonham isn't even close to being anywhere near as incredible as his pops on drums.....Plant and Page had this dude...Charlie something...can't remember his last name, touring with them when theu re-united....he was a beast. I think he died. Still don't know why they never asked John Paul Jones to come on board.....his bass lines are amazing.

Metallica should change their name to the Angry Cavemen.

and KISS stands for Kids Into Stupid Songs.

That's either "how unpopular" or "you nailed it" depending on who you ask.

I don't think anyone believes he will nail the beginning scream of Immigrant Song ever again. And that's ok. They need to do it like The Police did it. One final hurrah! filling stadiums around the world & giving their fans closure, 1 last night of memories, and a chance to say goodbye properly.

*I would be torn in going. On 1 side, I've never seen Led Zep before. On the flip, I would feel guilty using a ticket being only a casual fan that would prevent someone hardcore from attending.

I dunno...even though the Jan 2008 O2 show was easily Zep's best rehearsed and performed set since John Bonham died, it was just plain odd hearing the band tune down a half step or more from some of the recordings to accomodate the vocals. Some of the O2 stuff was better than it had any reason to be, but I'm kinda glad Plant hasn't given in to a full-blown, world tour Page/Jones/Jason Bonham reunion billed as 'Led Zeppelin'. It's good to see one classic band who decided to hang it up before age and self-parody set in. For every instance of a classic band like Van Halen who is still touring and playing well despite advancing years and the loss of a definitive member, there's several dozen other classic bands still plugging away who are embarrassing to watch now.

                Yeah^

I do have some respect towards Plant for saying he didn't think, (well he knows), that he couldn't cut it Live, and would rather just let them go out on a high note instead of cash in for a "last tour".He could have made some huge bank off the Led Zepp banner....Everyone wants him to, which is understandable...I mean it is freakin' Led Zeppelin, (for the most part).

                and

While we're talking of older bands who reunited briefly or should,

How the hell does Paul Rodgers keep his voice?? I mean, honestly do not know how he does it.Still as strong and powerful as it was in Free,I wouldn't mind if he did some more stuff with Bad Company, the one gig in '08 and the few shows in '09 were great, he sings the hits flawlessly live....it's insane.

It must suck to be Jimmy Page - he constructed one of the defining sounds in Rock music - but it defines him as a player - he has no where to go but Zepp.

He cannot seem to operate outside of Zeppelin based music (I did like Death Wish II soundtrack tho')

Coverdale/page was no good for me.

I like the Firm's 1st record - it was the beginning of adult contemp. rock - like EC's Reptile or Stones Bigger Bang, Jagger Wandering spirit, Richards Main offender, King Crimson's THRAK , ABB 7 Turns, Shades of 2 worlds..

good rock music aimed at a slightly older crowd than tweens and teens

but that was short lived success for Page - what has he done lately ? a whole lotta nuthin' from what I can tell

                        Indeed.

Bruce Dickenson is the Sammy Hagar of Iron Maiden.

didn't like Vai's tone on that and really didn't like the singer.

Saw it live and it was very messy.

To be fair they had 'support band' sound.
