I've been trying to write a review of the show... but I stink at that kind of stuff.
It was a great show... great music and a lot of laughs.
Didn't want to distract myself by typing through the show so I don't remember the set list exactly, but I do remember all the songs that were played (see below).
Satchel's solo was fucking killer... culminating with climbing up on a decent sized drum riser to end his solo with classic rock riffs while he accompanied himself on Stix's kit (Misirlou(?), Smoke on the Water, Breaking The Law, The Trooper, Master of Puppets, Crazy Train, Paranoid, Doe a Deer A Female Deer).
Of course there was a lot of fun SP banter
Satchel: "Come On Connecticut... Make Some Noise!"
Michael: "We're in New Jersey you fucking retard!"
Satchel: "Every band has a retard and he usually winds up playing bass"
Lexxi: "When she lays on her back her tits make her look like a hammerhead shark"
Stix: "We sold this bitch out"... as the band looked out at a theater that was only 3/4 full
I've seen quite a few shows in my time and I have to say that 'In The Future/Supersonic Sex Machine' was the greatest opener I've ever seen.
No covers despite teasing 'You Really Got Me' and 'Sweet Child of Mine' ("I wish we knew that one!").
Being that this was my first (and not last) SP gig, I was surprised to see that Satchel is the man who pretty much runs the show on the mic.
I was also surprised at Michael's piped in screams... for the most part they weren't too obvious.
Here's the songs that were played... not in exact order, but as close as I can remember... they played for about an hour and 45 minutes.
In The Future/Supersonic Sex Machine
Tomorrow Night
Asian Hooker
Fat Girl
Critter
It Won't Suck Itself
Community Property
Satchel's Solo
Let Me Come In
Just Like Tiger Woods
Weenie Ride
Eyes Of A Panther
17 Girls In A Row
Party All Day (Fuck All Night)
Encore
Death To All But Metal
I was doing a search for some reviews so I could check my set list and found some videos from the show on youtube (for those of you with some time to kill)...

Positive... you may be able to see one of the misses in that 'DTABM' clip.
I don't think it's a big deal... I would hope it wouldn't stop you from going to the show.
There's clearly a 'sampling guy' for lack of a better term who pumped in stuff throughout the show (I could see him on the side of the stage)... i.e. the 'Asian Hooker' intro, keys and stuff in 'Weenie Ride' and I can't remember what song, but there was a whole section where the bass was thumping but Lexxi was standing there just fucking around with his mirror.Comment
