The LA County Coroner was pleased to anounce that after 48 hrs of discussion Houstons PR Team and Attoneys have reached a agreement with the LA District Attoneys office to delay the release of the toxicollogy reports as to the cause of the singers death in order to maximize the money that can be made by the La County offices and Miss Houstons estate for at least 7 days.
The report only takes 3 hrs to determine but there are numerous news shows and TV hosts who have schedualled too many to mention fake news shows about the lack of information and twisted falshoods of propoganda used to increase the -Vast Money- that would be lost is the deal could not have been brokered in such a short time.
After determining Miss Houstons present , "E-taintment draw" the party's involved stated we couldn't stretch it till 14 days, because Miss Houston hasn't any music on the top 100 at the moment.
There, that is how you diss a memorial thread...

RIP to her, but it would be disingenuous of me to say, being aware of some of the aspects of her lifestyle, that her death comes as a shock. It was only two days before her death that The Sun posted this:

I heard on the radio tonight that Whitneys estate is gonna get basically zilch because she didn't write any of the songs she sang. Whenever 'I Will Always Love You' is now played, all rights & fees go to Dolly. Other songs royalties & the likes go to their respective originating artists. Poor Whitneys kid. This WILL NOT be like Michael Jackson at all. MJ was the author of his songs and therefore his estate receives the cash and the family can all fight over it & live off it forever.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. Of course Michael also made a shrewd business move before he got into trouble for all that boy-fucking stuff. He took some advice from his friend Paul McCartney, which was to buy up music publishing companies. Of course Paul soon regretted giving that advice, because the first such publishing catalog Jackson bought was the very one that a bunch of fat old English guys in suits had swindled away from McCartney himself (and John Lennon). A company called "Northern Songs" which of course published the majority of the Beatles catalog (George Harrison had his own publishing deal, and he didn't let it become attached to Northern, which in retrospect, was a good decision)
So Michael's kids actually have a lot of money that should belong to John & Paul's kids. As for Whitney's estate, I guess it depends on whether her managers did right by her when she was still coherent enough to know better. Elvis Presley never wrote a song either, but his estate sure as Hell ain't hurting for money.Eat Us And Smile

Yup. Grace Slick told me the money in the music business is in the publishing. She said her ex-hubby and former band mate Paul Kantner purposefully wrote songs so he would make more money. She said White Rabbit and Somebody to Love have been wonderful cash cows over all these years. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

The business end stuff was what I found most fascinating in Daves book too. It really isn't 4 guys playing & getting the door receipts any more. The amount of people involved is crazy. How there is any left over for the actual band members to become wealthy is crazy. Like...the 07/08 tour made $93 million. Divide by 4 and you would thing each guy got $23 million. LOL...wishful thinking.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

From what I understand, the Colonel got Elvis a piece of the publishing of whatever song he recorded, and of course Elvis being Elvis a lot of songwriters were willing to fork over a share of their rights for the exposure.Comment
