Verily, that song even sounds a little bit like Revolver era Beatles. Which was kind of an awkward era around here, since that was about the time that John said they were more popular than Me. I understood wha totally t he meant by it and took no offense at the statement, but many of my so-called "followers" were not so understanding.

I agree ive seen it recently again and it is excellent. The dvd supposedly has alot of xtras on it.I would of liked to have seen more about the attempt on his life and how he dealt with it.

I had a chance to chat with George's sister for about an hour once, and she brought that up - so I asked how he dealt with it. Same way he dealt with everything else: peace and love. Great lady with lots of inside Beatles stories.

They better give the band a name that isn't Beatles 2. Otherwise it will just look like a nostalgia act.

That's gonna be a cross that they bear no matter what name they choose. People will still be expecting tons of Beatles music, or new stuff that sounds very "Beatle-esque" from them.

              How about "Beatles Too?"

                Or what about "Beatle Juice?"

Because they were all created by the *ahem* "juice" of original Beatles....

Why are there five of them ??

Maybe they should be called the Old Beatles, or Old Buggers because they are already well past the Beatles "old men of thirty."

I'm sure there would be some aspects in which they unintentionally sound like the Beatles. I just hope they avoid wearing matching suits or anything that would be deliberate.

Yeah, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Kenny Rodgers, Jimmy Buffett, the resurrected career of Garth Brooks and the other guy who was in Wham! who will be replaced by FAT Sammy after the first record. Look for appearances on American Idol and Glee. I just can't imagine the offspring of any of these people (including the cast of Glee).

I thought i read that the remaining Beatles and "maybe" Julian,Sean,Dhani would do something for the 2012 olympics in london.I think George"s son Dhani is finishing some of the hundreds of demos George left for some sort of cd.

British musicians and the Olympics. Yeah, that always turns out well.
