I love the Dio years. Great energy he brought to the band.

I actually know of another case, but knowing how sensitive and fragile Motley Crue fans are, I'll digress.

I like me some Crue but what you speak of was a kick ass album. But should have had a different band name IMO.

I left them out for the same reason as I didn't mention Queen or The Doors. A copy-cat 'replacement' is different than a guy taking the spot because the singer is dead. I think this has a lot to do with why I like Carlos cavazo in Ratt so much and usually hate replacements.

And Brian Johnson was kick ass. But man is his voice harsh now. For the last 20 years I think he has been gargling daily with glass shards, rusty nails & gasoline. OUCH!

Same tour I saw them on. I saw the 4th date of the tour. May 26 in San Diego. I think your dates are off a little Sniper. Did you see them on night 2 in Albuquerque? that was May 24 at Sandia Casino.

Wow. I gotta lay off the modeling glue. I was way off on that one. Apologies. But I saw them in 2007. Back to my earlier statement of a lot of lame unknown tunes mixed with a few gems. Kinda okay. Some good looking women there but still basically a sausage fest.

I forgot. I did also open for them in 07 also again. It was the same night as the first VH show 07.
