The late - great Allen Collins was so very brilliant and a notorious perfectionist .
I still have my original double vinyl of " One More.... " ( second copy ! ) complete with the album insert .
I wore out the first one and handled the second one with kid gloves .
Classic Skynyrd , Zeppelin , classic Van Halen - WE have great taste !
I wish Ted Nugents " Double Live Gonzo ! " would get a remastered ( plus goodies ) makeover .
Yeah, I'm on my second vinyl and third disc of One More From The Road...

That album is proof of how good they were live night after night...

Yeah, REAL Skynyrd was one Hell of a band. Can't stand the joke that Ronnie's little brother has turned them into though.

Are any ACTUAL members of Lynyrd Skynyrd still alive?

When do these guys get their due and get inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame? Even though the Hall is a joke....so many deserving artists left out.

They are in. Got in a few years back. All of the old original guy's played. Even crazy Bob Burns played drums. They did Alabama & Freebird. The original band was unreel live. I put them in my top 5.

I will be interested to see if they fixed the screw ups. There were a few but not many. If they did Page probably used some audio from the rehearsals I would think. No big deal to me. What live album hasn't been fixed ? Maybe Double Live Gonzo. And Ted's not a fan of it.

Check it out ! Talk about dumb luck ! One day out of the clear blue - I wandered into a local second hand / antique store .
To my amazement and several double takes and wide - eyed , jaw - dropped gasps of disbelief - There It Was - lying on a shelf amongst junky books and other discarded second hand crap Street Survivors original cover with both inserts intact for - get this - a dollar ! Still have it . Here 30 years later - It is encased in a heavy duty plastic collectors sleeve and rarely see's the light of day .

This is fantastic! I was just thinking the other day, "what does humanity need the most?" And of course the first thing that sprung to mind was, "another Led Zeppelin DVD!"

I always figured the reason why Skynyrd, Alice, and especially KISS (add Deep Purple to this list as well) weren't inducted yet, is because of the question of WHO gets inducted. And it's not like the Hall of Fame has a consistent policy with these things, i.e. Black Sabbath inducts ONLY the original members, while the Red Retard gets to tag along when Van Halen gets the invite.

Still have no idea why Rush isn't in there. They have had the same lineup since 1974, and I doubt anybody would object to John Rutsey being inducted with them. Only thing I can guess is that their flaming dickwad of a manager has something to do with it. Yeah, I'm still gonna throw in a Ray Danniels bash when the opportunity comes up. I wouldn't be FORD if I didn't!

Rush should have been in years ago with Deep Purple. Is Lemmy in ?
