Have you ever even heard any of Bruce's solo songs?
I can recommend the obvious "Tears of the Dragon", the original "Wicker Man", "...No Way Out, Continued", "Man of Sorrows" - none of those songs sound even remotely like the others - & the entirety of both the "Chemical Wedding" & "Tyranny of Souls" albums. Maybe "Accident of Birth", too.
MUCH better & more imaginative than Maiden ever did.

Naw, don't talk about Bruce by listening to Maiden. It pains me when someone does so.
I mean, I do like Maiden, but I LOVE Bruce - as an artist. I actually didn't realize just how unique & amazing Bruce was until he left Maiden.
Being a stupid teenager at the time, I thought he was in the wrong, like everybody else, but when I took the time to listen to what he was doing, I elevated him to his rightful pedestal, above all crap we call music, including Maiden.
I'll send you a few selected songs, if you're interested. He really deserves more than the praise I'm giving him.

I really don't listen to metal. Those Maiden CD's I own I must have bought years ago and never listened to them. I have over 17,000 CD's that I no longer have room for (most just sit on the floor) that I'm currently backing up which is taking days.Comment

I stopped purchasing CDs when I got to the still wrapped, never opened part.
Look for some Virgin Steele post 1995 too, while you're at it.
They both require a bit of effort & attention on your part - they don't click at first listen exactly because they're so different from what you're used to, but when you do "get" them, you'll never look - or hear - back.
