The "let's have some love for Nazareth" thread!

Great band. Never hit that upper level, but they still tour. This tune has always been my favorite of theirs...

This timing is impeccable, as it was just last night at my buddy's and somehow Nazerath came up. He has a recent double re-issue of Close Enough For Rock and Roll, and Playin' The Game, which I will get too.

I saw Nazerath on the Full Circle tour on May, 23, 1981. It was the concert they filmed their double live album, It's Snaz , at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. There is on VHS, but not sure if on dvd. I watched Telegram on YouTube a couple months ago. They closed out the show with " Shapes Of Things ", and had smoke and big explosions. Krokus opened up the show, and were pretty damn good too, it was their first tour, for the Hardware album. I got a black t-shirt which had the skull from No Mean City album cover. They seem to still tour endlessly, and were in my town here again recently.

They seem to have a farewell tour every 5 years or so, only to pop back up. These days it's one of those situations where two members are touring different bands as Nazareth. Manny Charlton has a version he tours with.

Always liked this in the early days of MTV:
