Oh believe me, they were booed. But only before/after each time. During the song itself most the crowd played along because everyone wants to make it into an MTV video back then.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

I'd have to say Ton Loc and M.C. Hammer in a tie opening for 2 Live Crew in 1988.RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!Comment

LOL. I went with some friends that were into rap at the time. I was kind of along for the ride but back in those days if we had a lot of beer i was pretty much up for any road trips.RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE

From a hard rock/metal standpoint it would probably be the scab version of Skid Row when they and Nugent opened for Kiss on Psycho Circus. To me, they just didn't have anything going on without Bach.RIDE TO LIVE, LIVE TO RIDE

Momentarily nation-wide lame pop-nu-wave band The Clocks opening for Black Sabbath on the Heaven & Hell Tour, November 1980.
I say this not so much because they sucked....they were pretty decent at their nu-wave crap...but opening for Black Sabbath? The audience was howling for blood and was ready to leap onto the stage and hideously rip their skin off of their twitching skeletons.........and so the severe anti-band vibe going is enough to easily make them the worst opening band I ever saw.
Another band who was shit was G-Force opening for Van Halen.....I believe in 1983 or so?
"NOW LET'S TRY IT WITH SYNTHESIZER!!!! *ROAAAAAAAR!!!* ***SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLL! !!!!*****"
That motherfucker....I so wanted to strangle him with my bare hands. The only thing that could divert my fury at the suck of the opening band was when the Mighty Van Halen took to the stage and blew our heads clean off.....making me ask myself a question...."Do I feel lucky?"
"Well? Do I punk?"
GOT-DAM RIGHT, MUFFUKKAH! :DComment
