We're losing them all. All these giants that started modern music & were the embodiment of the romanticised story of the kid who started with a beat-up guitar & ended up as king of the world.
Now we get thugs, gangstas & bland pop.
Thank you for all the music, BB King.
Cheers! -
Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!Comment

A maximum Soul God of the Blues . He was a pure guitarist and literally every lick he played was improvised and heartfelt .
I've been playing a live CD recorded at MSG in New York City when he and Ike & Tina Turner opened for The Stones in November of 1969 . Wow !
On a sidenote - B B King played the Fox Theatre here in St. Louis late last year . Unfortunately he had to cut the show way short because he became very ill . Apparently he explained to the audience that he didn't feel well but felt obligated to play anyways . God bless him , He gave it his best shot but his failing health prevented him from playing for very long .
