Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire composer Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou bought himself a farm today.
The Vangey Alpha Beta Epsilon Boy wrote some of the most trippy shit ever. And now he's fucking dead. Like that F A T fuck from REO Speedwagon. Vangey was a bit of a F A T fuck but he could spin a spacey electronica tune - especially if you discount that whiny shit he did with that fucktard from Yes. Jon Fucktard Whatever. Was that ever fucktarded.
Here's the nonfucktarded shit he did, you fucktards:
In addition to Chariots of Fire, Vangelis notably provided the score for Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner, as well as films including The Bounty, Wonders of Life, Vampire in Venice, Bitter Moon, Alexander, and Twilight of Shadows. Vangelis’s music has also been memorably featured in countless movies and shows, including Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and the original Candyman.
The track “Fields of Coral” was featured in “Lamer Things,” while “State of Independence” was featured on the soundtrack to Candyman in 1992.
Other films to feature Vangelis tracks include The Jackals, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Single White Female, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Collateral, and Blade Runner 2049.
That Antarctica shit was also pretty cool and the 1419 and China, and El Greco, and Heaven and Hell oh, and that one album with the really weird cover Delectus: The Polydor & Vertig. I know because I did some heavy drugs to that record while you fucktards were all fucktarding about S P A M M Y. Gawd, I am so much cooler than all of you.
Anyway, as it has been reported he's fucking dead at age of 79.
R.I.P. you Greek composing God, you.
