What's with the strapped-down Vader in this trailer?

How exactly does Palpatine control the most powerful Jedi in the universe?

Pride and greed can only work as a lever to get Anakin to come to the dark side. Looks like there's some serious intersteller S&M going on here to keep young vader in line.

Nope, sorry, but that is James Earl Jones doing the voice of Vader, not Hayden Christensen.

Jones was on a talk show a few months back talking about returning to the SW films at Lucas request.
He did not elaborate much at the time because he hadn't been given a script to study at that point.

James Earl Jones IS Darth Vader in my opinion...anything less would be, well, less? lmmfao.
          Don't believe me?
Check the link below and he is credited with the part.

Man, I got goose pimples from that trailer big time.

It's gonna freakin kick ass for sure.
          James Earl Jones

I dunno, the coolest thing about this teaser are the clips from the first SW...and Lucas fucked up the last two so badly...

The return of James Earl Jones as the voice of vader is going to be a highlight.
              It is essential.

Hell yeah it is, a different voice would kill it for me completely.
Nobody can do Vader's voice except Jones, period.

The lack a Vader-ness is by far the #1 reason I didn't like the last two films. But once you get past the crappy characters and boring parts of EP1 and EP2, building the storyline i guess was critical.

But this one is sure to strap us to the seats, and i'd say this one maybe a tad too dark for the youngsters from what i saw in that trailer.

I cannot fucking wait for May 19th, and i'll be at the first showing come hell or high water, lmmfao.

                  Awe no way, man.
The "rise" sequence sent chills through my body just seeing the suit all shiny and new...fuckin badass, man.

                  "Yes, Master!"

But we all know he doesn't remain evil as Luke saves him from himself.

Dammit, I want to see it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've already got the day off, and i'll be at the midnight showing just like i was for AOTC. hell, saw that one three times the first day alone.

if there's a cinema with digital projection near you, you've gotta see it in digital at least once.

                      Digital Projection?
Never heard of it, but then again i may have been in a movie theater two or three times in the last 5 years, lol.

I will check into that for sure. This film better kick my ass or i'll be pissed, lmmfao.

check for a Cinemark theater. we've got one closer to Cleveland that has a digital projector. i caught AOTC on a local screen at midnight, on the digital screen at 11 am or so, and back at the first place with my niece and nephew at 4 pm.

digital projectors are still pretty expensive and a lot of chains don't want to spend the money on them.

I went to see Attack of the clones with a guy that had never seen Star Wars before, and his comment after the film was "That doesn't reflect real life"

LMMFAO @ That doesn't reflect real life?
Well, seeing as we don't travel through space the same way we go from state to state, I'd say your friend was right....But does he grasp the concept of Science Fiction?

I have a friend who has also never seen a Star Wars movie, so i had him buy the Trilogy on DVD.
he thought it was awesome, but he has not seen it in it's original release.

I'll give Lucas credit for improving them, although the Han Solo shooting first crap was lame, as was the Jabba the Hut sequence having Han step over his tail.

I could have done a better job with the Animation part of Paint Shop Pro 7.

                              The trailer rocks!

How much new shit do you really see, though.

Most of it is comped from the other films.

                              Never mind.

You can just picture yourself sitting in the theatre with a huge, stupid grin on your face when the lights go down.

When i first saw that Anakin dude grown up i was asking myself "Does he really fit the part?"
But after seeing some of the scenes in this movie it is apparent that they took the kid look away from him.

It just may work, for Georges sake, it had better, lmmfao.

Mace Windu: The path of the righteous is beset on all... Oh shit, i'm falling, and i can't get up!

I can already see the parody's, like the one that was a cross between Forest Gump and Pulp Fiction.

Jules: I reckon we're going to have to get medievel on your buttocks!

So much laughter, so little time...
