He was joking and laughing on the way into the courtroom. Guilty or Not, I would be nervous as all fuck.

What a class act this fucker is. Between this, watching porn days after she disapeared, and calling Amber from a Laci vigil, and you've got one great guy.

Geragos is suppose to be top of the line defense attorney.

14 witnesses in 6 days, and their medical expert tried tobase his judgment on a video tape of her at a shower, and asked that the prosecution "give him a break".

The guy was a joke. Geragos promised in opening statements that he would prove that Peterson was "stone cold innocent".

Interested in what the legal experts will say about his job on this case.

CNN is saying the defense might have an opening on the appeal. Something about the two alternate jurors.

Slim chance if any in my opinion, but it's their only shot, so of course they have to try.

Both sides go through jury selection, both sides were in chambers when they were removed.

Even if this guy doesn't fry, he's in for life.

The experts seem to agree with you. Geragos also promised to find the "real killer" at the start of the trial. I guess in a way he did, didn't he?

As far as I know, the exact cause of death wasn't established. But the body was found without a head at the bottom of the bay with concrete anchors weighing it down, so that pretty much lets out natural causes.

                      The details:

Peterson Found Guilty of First Degree Murder

By Kimberly Edds and Amy Argetsinger
                      Washington Post Staff Writers
                      Friday, November 12, 2004; 4:46 PM

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 12 -- A jury found Scott Peterson guilty Friday of killing his pregnant wife Laci and their unborn child in the unlikely saga of suburban adultery and betrayal that has transfixed the trial's dedicated followers for nearly two years.

Peterson, a 32-year-old fertilizer salesman from Modesto, showed no emotion as the foreman read the verdict. The jury will decide later whether to sentence him to death.

During a five-month trial, prosecutors portrayed Peterson as a selfish narcissist who they said killed his wife and dumped her weighted body into the San Francisco Bay in order to escape a lackluster marriage and the impending pressures of fatherhood.

The remains of 27-year-old Laci and her fetus -- a near-term boy the couple had already named Conner -- washed ashore in April 2003, four months after her Christmas Eve disappearance, an event that captured national television coverage.

The verdict's arrival early Friday afternoon surprised the crowds of courthouse observers who had expected more deliberations after a tumultuous week in which the jury saw two of its members removed on consecutive days. After returning from a Veteran's Day holiday, the reconstituted jury had spent only a few hours in deliberation before announcing it had reached a conculsion.

On Tuesday, Juror #7 was removed for reportedly conducting independent research on the case. On Wednesday, Judge Alfred A. Delucchi removed the foreman, identified as a doctor and lawyer, who kept more than a dozen notebooks of observations throughout the trial. Why that juror was excused from the case has not been made public. The jury members arrived about 15 minutes later than usual this morning, dressed casually and appearing more relaxed than they had in past days.

Throngs of people rushed to the courthouse as word that a verdict had been reached spread through the small town of Redwood City. Customers of one grocery store down the street spread the news to clerks and bagboys. Bank employees asked to close up shop for just a moment to hear the verdict being read.

"I wasn't this nervous for my first grandchild," said one courthouse employee as she walked through the hallway.

Helicopters flew overhead and television satellites crammed the courthouse parking lot. Hundreds of reporters milled around the courthouse courtyard to catch a glimpse of the Rocha and Peterson families arriving.

The body washed ashore without a head or any limbs. There were never any anchors found.

He must have been out looking for the "real killer". He wasn't at the verdict reading.

I was at a Party today. Most everyone there feels he sis NOT do it, they think he was framed. Myself and one man were the only ones who feel he did it. Anyone one else thing he is innocent?
