Yeah. They certainly took out the whole Ellen/Hooper affair when they put the movie together. And I agree. It worked for the book, but would have been a waste of time in the movie. Furthermore, I was shocked when I finally read the book as a kid and read Hooper actually dying! I was like, WTF?

Jaws was a one of a kind movie. It broke the mold. And Dreyfeus is STILL one of my faves of all times
