Posting huge photos

I just do not understand why people post huge photos. It makes everyone scroll across. It is just annoying. Maybe a lot of people have their display set 1024x780. I have mine on 800x600 so everything isnt so little.


I do not know maybe I am wrong on this subject.

My understanding is that this website was setup for 800 x 600 res. I have been on 1024 x768 for longer than I can remember, but not everyone has/can afford a nicer monitor and good graphics driver. I sometimes get my posted pics too large, forgetting a lot of people are using 800 x 600, even though I rework/check every image before I post it to this great site.

If you don't have this software for reworking images, before you post them, may I suggest you get it and use it. Best on the market and it's free. You can rework images in seconds with this application, and it is not a hog app/memory user like PhotoShop. Great piece of image software!

While on the subject, more and more internet hackers/ass clowns are attaching viruses/trojans to jpg pics, particularly porn/babe pics.

Please do everyone a favor and virus/malware scan (I use Norton Antivirus/Ad-Aware Pro) your pics before uploading them to any Forum Board. Thanks in advance..TB
