Anyone else lick the salt off the inside of the microwave popcorn bag?
That being said, when I was growing up my mom wouldn't allow me to have sugar cereals. But I really was into the Cookie Crisp commercials.
So - through the divine inspiration only an 8 year old could have - I used to take a box of Chips Ahoy, mash 'em up in a bowl, add milk, and sometimes, how scary is this, MORE SUGAR, and Voila! - Cookie Crisp was mine!

LOL! The ingenuity of the 8 year old mind!! WTG Ap!!
On one side, I felt smart and extremely proud of my ability to buck the system.
On the other, no secret decoder ring at the bottom of the box.
(it all came to a crashing end when after several weeks of this my mom would ask what I had for breakfast each day and i would tell her the cheerios or whatever that layed unopened in the pantry. When she asked me to explain this phenomenon, I attempted some explanation that i no longer recall, but I can tell you it sure didn't work)

No you don't!
here's why: when I first moved to the city about 7 years ago, I went to my local Gristedes.
Lo and behold, I get to the cereal aisle and see fuckin' FRANKENBERRY there on the shelves. I LOVED THIS SHIT AS A KID (pre-my mom's sugar cereal ban).
Honest to God, I grabbed a box, left my cart behind, paid, got back to my apartment, and commenced to eat about 3/4s of the box. I LOVED IT, but about a half hour later, I HAD THE WORST, MOST CRAP SUGAR HEADACHE AND HAD TO LIE DOWN, PRAYING TO GOD FOR IT TO END. I'VE HAD HANGOVERS THAT WERE MORE ENJOYABLE!!!!
I don't remember that ever happening as a kid! Damn, this aging thing can suck!
Stick with the Cheerios, Carmine. We're both too old for anything else!
Originally posted by academic punk So there ya go...break out those sugar free chips ahoy, mash 'em up in a bowl, pour some milk, and you've got your breakfast.
I get 10%. Finders fee, y'know...
Well then, I'm hosed, cause my wife will take the other 90%...as usual!
I slept at my girlfriends last night, and I only got them on Wednesday, so I've only watched the US Fest all the way through (kept rewinding on the "Hammana Hammana Hammana Hammana...I FORGOT THE FUCKIN' WORDS!!!!" bit...god-damn hysterical!!!).
And this whole weekend is insane. I'll sit down with them someday...hopefully.
But yeah, you nailed it...great quality and well worthe the money!
Tell ya what...skip the 10% finders fee, I'll buy the sugar-free Chips Ahoy, the first bowl is on me!
(BTW, does the diabetes affect your ability to drink whiskey or other beverages with a high sugar content?)

believe it or not...NO...jack has literally no affect at all. Beer makes it zoom, but I been a JD man since the 80's so...and don't drink beer to much at all.
the first high octane test for me was the Casino Rama show...I ate "bar food" for dinner...had A TON of JD that night...got back to the room after all that, my blood sugar was 94. (normal is between 80 and 120)
