MEZRO was my friend at this site for a while before the Webbies status. Always got along with the dude. Haven't agreed with a lot this week, but that's life.
My "total shit" thread, BROWNSOUND, was actually a really cool thread about me firing my drummer and asking other people in bands about it and other people jumping in with really good supporting advice. Then it turned into a good discussion about being in bands in general. Then someone else jumped in and made a stupid attack because I guess she needed the attention, she was insulted back and told to leave the thread, then a threat was made. The thread was 100% fine until a certain someone turned it into something else. If anything, I feel that certain someone is the one that should have had the banning threat. I've never threatened to come to her house and, anyway... Who cares? Ancient history.
I think deleting the whole thread was wrong. Does it speak for the future? I think we've seen here an example that people do enjoy an Army that is more run by the people and Moderated from the outside. But I also don't own this site and nobody else under Webbie status does either. And I don't really know what MEZRO has planned. I guess I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. I trust in future he will also give me the benefit of the doubt that I wouldn't make a complaint unless someone does shit that at any other forum they would be banned 100 times over for.
Anyway, whatever. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
I hate giving my 2 cents sometimes, because I know it's none of my biz, but I also hate seeing a shitload of people fight, when otherwise would get along.

well I dont really see the big deal either. I guess if the conversations were pretty deep and links and what not were served up and maybe the thread was at least 4 pages long...? I dunno. I know I wouldn't care if any of mine were deleted. Hell I wish one would dissapear for good so Flappo can stop waving it at me. :D But I can understand it would upset someone.

I've rarely used aliases. Maybe JENNA and one or two others, and rarely used them at that (unlike you). And if you ever had an ounce of proof that either name you listed was actually me, I would happily mail you a check for $100 so you could eat this month.
