Half of the celebrities that got famous, say, post-1990, I have no idea as to why they are so popular. And with the talent pool that's entered the spotlight in the last decade....

this girl is popular. Can't act. Can't sing. Looks like she's
strung out on roofers. Is rich by way of her parents. Is
having an inheritance somehow an example of her hav-
ing done something worthy of fame?

Julia Roberts - Never understood why people think she's attractive.
No accounting for personal taste, but whatever. Didn't
understand it when Pretty Woman was the #1 movie
in America, don't understand it today.

Nicole Kidman - I'm sorry, but she's way too thin. Being able to see
her skeletal system through her evening gowns is not
a plus in my book. Not saying I like 'em fat, either.

The list goes on and on (Ashton Kusher, Tara Reid, Lindsey Lohan); a certain amount of talent beyond having a cute face (which has more to do with genetics, or should......though with all the plastic surgery these days DNA is probably playing less of a role than before) should be required from our "celebrities".

Am just tired of actors and actresses who can't act, singers who can't sing well in the STUDIO, never mind live (JLo and Ashley spring to mind)

Probably the most overrated of all time is Madonna. And for me it's more the way her popularity has pretty much never waned over the years that's utterly mystifying to me; can't sing, can't act, can't dance. There has to be more to fame than showing your booty. At least I hope there is, even though I know I'm wrong.

Johnny Depp is flawless, IMO.

He has those classic, timeless good looks. He could be from any time or any place.

His facial features are damn near perfect. He has an incredible smile, soft eyes, beautiful hair and a decent body.

Whats not to want??? Whats not to get?

I just wish he'd stay clean shaven. I love the long hair, but not too wild about the facial hair. Drives me nuts when good-looking men cover their face with hair.
