Actually, I saw this little brunette cashier at Target today. She wasn't particulary great looking, but she had that smoky, trashy little look. A stellar combination of jet-black long hair and multiple piercings. Hell, she could have been 18 or 19 for all I know, though I think she was in her 20's. Anyways, she was not MY cashier unfortunately.

I didn't notice her until I went up and placed my needless, consumerist crap onto the counter. I was staring so hard at her that my cashier had to get my attention with the obligatory "did you find everything you were looking for sir?"

I just casually shifted attention and said, "yes, as a matter of fact I did." But as the rolly-poly chick I had as a cashier was scanning my crap, I could not take my eyes off this girl. She seemed to have a warmth and natural gregariousness that is so lacking these days, especially in me. While walking out, I kept spy on her and bumped into the shopping carts and nearly ran over several small children as I exited. I was smitten with her slutty demeanor as she was all smiley and giggly with her customers, almost indirectly flirtatious as she seemed to notice my attention from out the corner of her eye. As I walked out, I was thinking of an excuse to go up to talk to her. But I couldn't, so I just moped out to my car, trudging over the scorching asphalt, carrying my stupid and useless consumerist-crap (aside from my toilet paper I bought, which is always useful), out to my stupid Japanese car, I felt a profound sense of disappointment that always inevitably follows a missed opportunity such as this, and I drove off listening to some Van Halen (DIVER DOWN) to assuage my deflation.
