ack....it showed 1 minute to go, and then there was a glitch and it had already launched!!!
Internet congestion....you KNOW that eveybody on the planet is overloading the NASA servers watching this....
How fucking cool! As it went up into orbit, there was a camera mounted ON the external fuel tank! And I watched as the shuttle seperated from the fuel tank in low orbit! So you could see as the seperation occured and the shuttle drifted away to go on into orbit!!!
I once was talking with my Grandma back in the 80s while she was still alive...and I remarked how amazing her life had been to go from horse & buggy when she was a child, to witnessing the space program and man landing on the moon...she certainly agreed on that point....Comment
