    Wtf!

    This is a stupid post but... last night i was flipping thru the TV channels
    and came across a Mel Brooks flick and was about to flip on thru
    (because i have this sickness to know what's on every single channel
    before i can figure out what to watch)_ and he and some people were
    in this airplane taking off running from some -Mel Brooks type Nazi's-
    and some dude yells out Shiester or Shiestkoff(sp) or some such slang

    Well i always thought those words meant Sh!t and Sh!thead..Yes/No.?

    If every body else get's beeped if it is said in a diff language it's OK?

    Or are the censors that stupid.?

    Why do I care ? I dont, i just wondered if anyone spoke German and
    could answer my question on the meaning of those two words,,Thanks..

      Is the part you talking about where he goes, "Sondheim! Send in the clowns!"?

      I don't remember any actual German being said. A lot of Yiddish. It's been a while for me though.

          My guess is that it's "quasi-German". Sounds like German, but it's not.
          Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

                      You are all correct i guess?lol

                      i thought we may have a German speaking Roth fan around here to give me the concrete yes or no. guess not.

                      Probably the only Mel Brooks flick i haven't seen. I didn't want to see
                      it cause it was toward the end it seemed ,did not want to ruin it by
                      missing 90% then watching just the end.

                      Plus i can hardly stand viewing a good flik or any flik with commercials.

                      As pitt said in 12 Monkeys --Commercials..unhh!!!-- flicking his FU fingers at the TV...
