THESE are the names you have to drop???? Wow! You really ARE in the music business. I take back everything I said. Dork.

By the way, Running Springs is where I stop to take a piss on my way to my Big Bear cabin. I believe it is where you can buy affordable homes while still (barely) in the mountains. Dork.

By the way, when you stop in Running Springs, don't forget to wipe your ass before you get to your Pre-Fab "Cabin" in Big Bear...DORK.

Thanks, but I know Running Springs very well already. :-)
Real Estate IS very reasonable here (is there something wrong with NOT paying 500K for a house in North Hollywood, complete with crackheads and hookers on the sidewalks?), 2,000 ft. above the smog, nice people, very little crime. Barely in the mountains? Hmm, we're at 6,300 ft. altitude. Heh. DO check your maps. ;-)

Hey cuntie. Just to make sure you have an accurate picture, my cabin is no pre-fab. In fact, it will likely be on the market this summer for 1.2 million since we want to cash out and buy something in Tahoe. If I do, I'll shoot you the link to give you and 30 or so of your friends the opportunity to try to scrape enough of your money together to make a down payment.

Exactly. Yes, BARELY in the mountains. Less than a third of the way up on my drive. As far as crime, I guess folks in Running Springs have a different name for their meth problem??

19 miles from Redlands to my home. Another 18 to Big Bear. 6300 ft altitude. I'd say we're in the mountains, pal. We do have some tweakers here to be sure. However, with the new head of the Sheriff's Dept. cracking down, that problem is remarkably less frequent here.

You want Meth problems? Go to Crestline. :-)

1.2 Million for your home? Nice! Congrats!

                      You're still a prick. ;-)

Geez, Kennedy, if you're cabin is 1.2 million, this must mean your home in Pasadena is located in Millionaire's Row and worth more, right near Dave ?

                        Such a success story...

Nope. I wish I lived over by Dave's house, but not the case. I love the area around the Tournament House. I'm actually in Sierra Madre, but list Pasadena because nobody ever seems to know where SM is. (by the way, I didn't pay 1.2... More like 275k about 8 years ago and got lucky with the market up there - it's worth more than my SM home)

                            Sierra Madre is AWESOME.
We almost moved there when we decided to bail from L.A. Beantown has some of the best coffee on the planet!

Hmmmm..I've got to give this all some thought. I happen to absolutely love Sierra Madre as well and just drove up there this weekend to look for cottage rentals. I'm in So. Pas, but want to move to Sierra Madre.

So we all agree we love SM (ha!).

                              Has the dust settled?
