I just noticed that most of these clips were already posted last July on the forums. Oh well.

The most interesting thing about Sam to me is how his comedy would not be acceptable to many today - you know, the gay stuff and ripping on rap. It almost as if his death was meant to be in that his comedy now would have clashed with current culture.

I just transferred a video tape to DVD last week of a Sam Kinison tribute that was on cable soon after he died.

Had Rodney Dangerfield, Robin Williams, Paulie Shore, and a couple of other guys.

He had a promising career as a rock singer as well!


R.I.P Sam.

I have a biography of him written by his brother.

He was an amazing guy.

Me too. I had the honor of meeting him one drunken night at the Rainbow in '90. VERY nice guy, would actually stop and talk to you!
He reached across our table to shake a friend's hand, his sleeve passed over the candle on the table, and he starts doing the scream,
waving his arm around like it was on fire in the middle of the restaraunt. Hysterical! :D

I was so bummed when I heard he died. Bill Hicks, too...too funny, taken too young.
