Man, I'm gettin' memories Thanks, Russ. Tiki and I have been looking for this for a long time to share with the Sparkette. Shame kids these days don't get to see this but filth of all kinds is rampant.

      Talk about childhood memories...

That is what I'll be singin' first thing in the morning on November 1. That's my Van Halen day!

Oh no, anything but the briar patch...

This is a copy of ACTUAL, SATISFACTUAL correspondence from where I got my copy.

Man, somebody must've took that old dude for a ride at one time.

Downloaded a crappy copy and watched it with Tiki yesterday and again with Sparkie, Jr. last night. She loved it as much as Mommy and Pop

It's "rumoured" that there are plans to re-release it in '08 or '09. Of course, that is without The Tar Baby

I've had a European VHS for year and had it converted to regular and have made many copies for friends with kids.

It's not as racially insensitive as you would think with all the fuss, but it's bound to draw statements from Sharptoon and crew, but who gives a damn about them.

Last I heard, Disney is contemplating a release and it will just have a disclaimer at the beginning of the movie. It's crazy how they can have "gay day" at their parks but lets this movie intimidate them.

It's hard to believe that after everything we've tried to do to squealch racial discrimination, we've in effect...made it worse.

A lot of it falls on the people who exploit it and keep it alive and find it when it isn't there, and just cause further resentment and divide.

                  I agree with that.
It seems the tables have most certainly been turned.

Instead of assimilation we're dealing with the throws of reverse discrimination.

                  Do we deserve it?
Or will it just reverse on itsself again.

                  I suspect the latter.

Back on topic. The old critter stories are a difficult read. Harris basically threw the rule book out the single pane window. Dialect prose....LMAO

Read more......don't try this @ home.

                      Wow!

That brings back some memories - I'm sure that we had this on VHS when I was a kid. Made me smile just watching it now.

                      Cheers.
