I never dated once in my life...
My first boyfriend was a childhood friend and the second one, I ended up marrying only 3 months after knowing. So my advice on dating is worth what it is...

But I know a LOT of people (not necessarely all friends) and from what I hear, dating is a lot like looking for a job...
You have to be "on your best".

The timing was not right. Loosing a job is stressfull and all so maybe you should have changed your mind that night?

Girls don't want to see a guy that's not 100% "there" and they want all the attention on them. If she's a hot chick, she is used to that attention and she likes to beleive that her presence only can cheer up a guy...
If she sensed that you where not totally into her (at that time), you probably won't get a second chance...?

Next time you date, I suggest that you leave all the problems at home OR you just date when the time is right...

i get my dating tips and advice from the many lovely ladies in my life that i enjoy spending time with on a regular basis.
believe me, they are always setting me up on dates, and i don't even ask.
i don't bother trying to figure women out.i don't have to.
the many women in my life are quite open in the topics they discuss with me,and quite brutally honest about things too.

women have explained themselves tome so i do not have to try and figure it out.

I grew up in this big city house my father built...
My mother still lives in it and since my Dad. passed away (in 1990), I still feel his presence there, when I go.
That place is safe and warm. I love it!

Now that she is 71, she is considering selling. It's innevitable. I would have loved to buy it but my husband doesn't really care for the style and location. Plus, it is way to big for a family of 3.

So... I will gather all my energy for when the day comes. My mother is very sad about the idea and if she can go through... so can I. It will be hard to pass in front without feeling a little pinch in my heart but... life will have to go on!
