All this kevetching from RF about the silly avatar, yet I dont see any issues over there with the peeps having the ROTH ARMY IS GAY avatars.

And notice WE dont complain/give a shit about it.

Yet Savicki comes in here and SPAMS forums with the stupid thing.

If I, or someone else from here SPAMMED RF with the RothFarts avatar, you cats would be screaming bloody murder.

That is the difference between the vibe of the 2 sites.

We have tolerance, and a sense of humor. You have people over there with some serious chips on their shoulders, and a real lack of humor.

I personally don't like it. I don't get why anyone would want THAT to be their avatar. If they think it sucks here, then they should just stay away from here and drop it.

That the thing right there. Just because they post it they're not saying the army sucks. You can't mod based on implied intent of the poster. Everybody knows you have a sense of humor and that War is a standup guy, but by assuming someone's going to post everything based on what they've posted in the past or reading meaning into things that aren't there, you inadvertantly drive people away from the place, which I don't think was anyone's intent but that's what happened anyway.
With internet you lose the inflection in the voice, so it's easy to see how things get misinterpreted at times.
You can't assume your perspective is the way everybody's going to see it. I don't mean to single you out, but it seems like the implied intent thing has put people off in the past.

I'm glad you aren't painting everyone with the same brush. I said both avatars were fine. The RF one could have used some work, though.
