                      Fallon works cheap, and it's probably better then giving him a sitcom deal. better for US, that is.

                      read an article about the new house band, it'll be the Roots. NBC is making them come up will all new original music for the intros/outros and everything. NBC is not willing to pay licensing fees for any cover tunes.

                      this show will be done on the cheap, and it'll look and sound like it.

                              and by putting Leno on at 10 pm weeknights, NBC fucked Conan. the big guests are going to go to the 10 pm show where they would be seen by a larger audience. Conan's ratings won't be as good as Leno's.

                              i think Letterman has a good shot at winning the 11:30 pm time slot with Leno gone.

                                          Jimmy Fallon does fucking blow. A thrid-rate Adam Sandler wannabe at BEST (and Sandler wasn't exactly the pinnacle of comedy for me).

                                          Can't say as Jay Leno moving to 10PM, or staying where he is, or just totally leaving television...that ANY of that makes a difference to me. Never had any use for the guy, much in the way that I never had any use for Johnny Carson. Some people held up Carson as some precious tv icon who was above reproach, but I never saw what the big deal about him was.

                                          Letterman I enjoyed, although I can't be bothered to stay up late just to watch him anymore.

                                          Fallon is just lame.
                                          Scramby eggs and bacon.
