Good news for HFCS haters: Pepsi & Mt. Dew about to release a limited run with sugar!
Haven't seen the 7UP Retro in the stores yet, but WinCo Foods is now carrying MexiSprite in the glass bottles. Fanta Orange with real sugar as well, and of course the MexiCoke. They don't sell it by the case unfortunately, only by the single bottle, but at 88 cents a bottle, that's half the price that my neighborhood convenience store is selling the single MexiCokes for. But WinCo is way out on the northeast end of town so I wouldn't go out of my way, considering I don't drink the stuff every day anyhow. But if I'm driving that way anyway, might pick up a few bottles.
WinCo is only in the Pacific and Mountain time zones (so far) but if you live in one of those states, might want to check it out.

Also found stores stocking MexiCoke in glass bottles...probably my very favorite...it's just that you have to finish the whole bottle..can't screw the top back on, you know.
A store next to my dealer has the glass bottled coke with real sugar. That's the solution. That's what I drink now when I want a soft drink. I still have two 12 packs of the Dr Pepper throwback from earlier in this thread. It's actually not that good. Mexicoke is the standard.
There is a place here called "Pops" that has soda pop from all around the world. Colas, root beer, cream soda, etc.....they have mexican coke and Dublin Dr. Pepper. I love me some Dublin Dr. Pepper.

local chain (OK, they're out of Pittsburgh) carries the Mexican Coke in the "ethnic" aisle...for a buck a bottle. not much of a price break at Sam's Club, it's $18.88 for 24 bottles.

Can't Control your Future. Can't Control your Friends. The women start to hike their skirts up. I didn't have a clue. That is when I kinda learned how to smile a lot. One Two Three Fouir fun ter thehr fuur.
Have you guys heard of/tried GuS? I had abstained from drinking soda, but couple weeks ago I saw a display of GuS beverages in a local supermarket and was interested in that the beverages are made from cane sugar and are less than 100 calories. So I picked up the ginger ale, pomegranate and meyer lemon. They are less sweet and more bubbly than mainstream soda.
Haven't seen that around here yet. Looks like every QFC in the state carries it, EXCEPT for the one here locally. That fucking figures. Sounds like a great product though, so I'll probably hassle the manager about it next time I visit that store.

Holy shit, it looks like the 7Up company is doing this right.......
Yes, those are honest to God GLASS fucking bottles.
Oh yeah, it does come in cans too......
Really don't see how the "zebra" striped can has anything to do with the classic 7Up formula, but then it was designed by a country singer and a rapper working for Donald Trump, so go figure...... Supposedly, this stuff should be in the stores now (though I haven't seen it yet)

I took a bunch of kids out to a local burger joint and they have Mexican Fanta and Coke in the old school bottles. Those kids thought those bottles were the coolest things and they all kept them. I told them I could heat the bottles and stretch the necks out and so we made old school bottle art you used to see at state fairs in the 70's. I always loved the old vending machines where you pulled the bottle out of the hole and if you were really cool you slammed the edge of the cap on the edge of a counter and popped the cap off that way. Plastic bottles are so boring.
I remember being in Cusco, Peru in the hotel and I grabbed a can of Sprite and opened it. It sprayed all over the ceiling. I grabbed a bottle of Inca Cola and it sprayed all over. I couldn't figure out what was going on until I looked at the containers and saw the soda pop was bottled in Lima which is sea level and Cusco is around 11,000 feet above sea level. The low atmospheric pressure was making one hell of a mess.
Every time I see the corn sugar lie on TV I cringe because of people who don't know better that will believe just because it's been repeated several times.
