That and as it has already been stated, he landed perfectly on him. Cameras perfectly aligned, sound crystal clear and so forth. Sure, pure off the cuff magic

MTV Awards writer: Eminem, Bruno stunt was planned

Tue Jun 2, 2:25 pm ET
NEW YORK – The head writer for the MTV Movie Awards has settled the debate: the stunt involving Sacha Baron Cohen and Eminem at the MTV Movie Awards was completely planned.
Comedy writing veteran Scott Aukerman wrote in a posting on his blog that the incident was staged and rehearsed in advance.
At Sunday's award show, Baron Cohen appeared in character as his gay fashionista Bruno. He fell on top of Eminem after being suspended above the crowd. The rapper appeared to find little humor in the stunt and stormed out.
Speculation was rampant over what was and wasn't real. Baron Cohen, Eminem and MTV have yet to comment on it.
Aukerman's posting has since been removed. His manager didn't immediately return a call Tuesday.

Staged with no doubt and possibly a set up punk'ed Em. I only say possibly punk'ed because the sexual stereotype character that landed on him didn't get kidney punch or yanked down. Had that been me, and I was told a stunt was going to happen around me and not to make a big deal and it went down as a punk on me in such a sexual assault way, I would have used any weapon and any means at hand to physically hurt the freak. I would not have the discipline to just get up and leave. And I would have gladly paid what every penalty the courts deemed fit for me to yank down and physically harm that offensive stereotypical homosexual character.

When the homosexual community remains quite about such offensive stereotypical characters, it reflects poorly on them as a whole.
To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

Are there no funny flamboyant homosexuals or transsexuals?

                    Continuing:
And if I had taken my beta-blockers and actually kept my cool in a professional setting, I would continue my coldness and charge (civil or criminal or both) that offensive sexual stereotype with assault and every little thing my lawyer could dream up and afford quickly pushing through the court system. He did say it was a planned assault on Em.

I keep looking at the clip wondering why Eminimum didn't get out of the way if somethings' stuck 30 feet up in the air above you.

When Paul Stanley got stuck 30 feet up on the wire shooting out for his solo back at the Glen Helen farewell tour (the one Criss went out with) everyone, even the stoners and drunk chicks, made a hole in the path because no body wanted to have a 280 pound deadweight fall on their heads.

Was eMinimum compliant? Or was he too stoned to get out of harm's way with a 6 foot 5 dude on a wire stuck above him, and watching him slowly falling.. it's my opinion he complied with this gag.

Not a fan at all. Don't generally watch Vinton's Delta Downs, either.

Eminem 'thrilled' about pulling off Bruno stunt

NEW YORK – Eminem says he knew full well what he was about to face at the MTV Movie Awards — including Sacha Baron Cohen's bare butt.
Enimem told the Web site RapRadar.com that the much-talked about stunt was all rehearsed, right down to Eminem's mock disgust. Says the rapper: "I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it."
Eminem says when he left the show, he went back to his hotel and laughed for three hours, including as he watched the playback.
The rapper calls himself a "big fan" of Baron Cohen, who he said approached him about the gag while he was in Europe.
At Sunday's live show, the comedian descended from the ceiling on a wire in a fake mishap that ended with his bare hindquarters in Eminem's face.
