War was sucked into the bitchfest.
The reason I say this? Well, you see, when Lounge was made mod...
But seriously, that was one of the issues. I personally had nothing against it & I even believe he'd have ade a good mod. It was the TIMING that was wrong. And as we know, timing is EVERYTHING.
War shouldn't've made Lounge a mod right from the get go, no matter what. Granted, the unexpected support that Loung showed to RothFans after so much bashing, had on Warham the effect an unexpected phone call has on that woman that you dumped a year ago, when she still loved you.
But War should've known better & NOT have pissed on those who have ALWAYS been loyal to him. THAT was what catalysed the whole bitchfest that was waiting to happen.
Again, let me stress that it was NOT the action, it was the TIMING of the action.
It certainly didn't help that some people just couldn't fuckin' let go of past grudges. But even that was dying down.
I believe that it was the right time for RothFans to start sailing on its own. It was certainly nearing the end of its trials.
But alas, as the tribulations were nearing the end & the path began to be cleared of the rubble, everything suddenly came to a halt.
Is it worth another go? I say yes... with Dan & Bob R at the helm. Chefcraig. And Lounge too. The "harm" has been done, anyway, and such an action wouldn't cause as much "grief" this time around.

Look, I stand 100% behind War in whatever direction he chooses for the site to go in. Always have, and that includes his decision to mod Loungie. Sure, I felt bad for those who felt they got the shaft, but it's War's site. Maybe HE felt shafted when RF's 1 seemed to fall by the wayside not too long after the Army's return. Could that be the reason for the different direction? I don't know, nor do I really care.
