Yes and The Rock has been approached over the years to play either Capt Marvel or his nemesis Black Adam. For me,Id rather see him as Black Adam. Kind of sucks to me ,the casting of Superman for the new movie,as I thought that Tom Welling should have been moved from the Smallville series onto the big screen.

I was under the impression that the upcoming Justice League movie would be a spin-off from Smallville. A handful of the characters (Aquaman, Green Arrow, Flash, ect.) have already appeared on the show, so it would make sense. Then again, that is a terrific reason for Hollywood not to do it, because it makes sense.
