I feel like a stalker writing this but...I have a friend whose 10 yr old son was diagnosed with ADHD. Here drug treatment is like the very last resort, so they have started him on cognitive behavioral therapy. The doctor recommended that they sign the kid up for karate since the discipline involved could be good for helping him learn self-control. So I had to throw in, "hey, did you know that..." She rightly thought I was nuts and changed the topic.
