Turkey, apple and sausage stuffing, cranberry chutney, two kinds of squash, shrimp, beef brisket, green salad, mashed potatoes, carmelized brussel sprouts, mixed root vegetables. Apple-cider-tini, red wine, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake and some chocolate caramel fudgey thing.
Doesn't get any better than this - Thanksgiving dinner at the Farm Table Restaurant.

I went into work today for 4 hours since they were offering overtime and I had no where to go. Figured I'd make a little scratch before I wasted the rest of the day playing online games. But at noon they had a whole feast for everyone there. 3 types of chicken, salad, potato salad, baked beans, green beans, apple & pumpkin pie, chocolate & lemon cake, and sodas.

OK, I'll play. Made some oyster stuffing with fresh celery, that dumb as a box of hammers green bean/mushroom soup/goofy/ fried onion casserole (except I added diced garlic and bacon slices, and added some steak sauce), and yes, I cheated. I baked a chicken with lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder and melted butter as a rub before baking at 400 degrees for about an hour and twenty minutes. The meat simply fell right off the bone.
Of course, I grabbed a can of that cranberry shit to season out the stuffing.
This was topped off with a desert (served about two hours later) of pecan pie (Winn Dick-Me had it on-sale for $3.99) and a dab of of ice cream.
And no, I still ain't gonna put up my fucking Christmas lights this weekend. Too damned early. Besides, I gotta go update my driver's license. Apparently, in the state of Dumb-Fa-Fucking-Florida, you have to soundly prove you are not a terrorist in order to do so.
At least the weather has cooled off somewhat...
