So, tired of hearing about how no one can send me a PM because I keep my Inbox full [for obvious reasons], I did a little house cleaning tonight.....and it was rough......seriously.

Found a PM thread from AL....talking about making me a mod, and how much fun we were having with Joe Thudner, and which newbies were promising, and which were annoying......fuck I miss you Mick.

Stumbled on old PM thread from MAX...a few actually.....asking me to help him with some stalker that was bothering him at work, and making it difficult for his lady....he was thanking me over and over again for the support and friendship....... fuck I miss you Jeremy.

Came upon the group of PM's I got from close friends, and strangers alike alerting me to the fact our old Troll BF had pictures and personal info of my wife and kids, and was spreading them around to people in hopes they would post them for him.......

Most of all, I was touched by the incredible amount of messages from THE TEAM here letting me know they had my back, and that fun was fun, but rules were rules.....and no one was going to violate them on their watch.


I read through flame wars, and Rothies, requests and rebukes.....PM's from Warf, Warham, and posters no longer here and long forgotten.......some of it silly, some serious, and some just funny as all fucking hell.



It's been a great ride......I've been hired, almost fired, I've tried to quit many times, and none of the fucking webbies would ever let me....

But cleaning out 8 years of PM's stirred alot of Ghosts, alot of memories......

Although back around 2005/2006 I got a lot of PMs from MAX entitled "Jizz". I had to wonder wtf we were talking about. Turned out it was Jesterstar.

In fact most of my old PMs are about Jesterstar, mostly people telling me which threads he's posting in so I could go "own" him.

I was trying to be nice. I'm a little rusty after taking years off from the drama here so my tone isn't as harsh as it could be.

The marathon PM sessions between MAX and I are some of my fondest memories of this place. In fact, it was he that encouraged me to join here in the first place. Finally, we got so mutually tired of typing each other that we simply exchanged phone numbers, leading to hours of hilarity and mutual respect.

Of all the folks I've lost over the past decade, Jeremy's passing still haunts me the most. I (like a great deal of you folks) wish there was something, anything I could have done to help the guy.

When I get out of here this evening, I plan on hoisting several in his honor.
