Yeah, I'm well aware that the Czech Budweiser is a completely separate beer from the US swill called Budweiser. What I was saying is that the picture Vain posted above of the beer called "Czechvar" was the Czech Budweiser rebranded for the US, and since the label says St. Louis (headquarters of Anheuser-Busch), then ironically enough, the "real" Budweiser is now distributed by the makers of the fake Budweiser, at least within the US.
And even though it's more than likely watered down (as most imported beer is in the US) it probably STILL tastes better than the Anheuser-Busch products.
Just the same though, I'll stick to the microbrews... or even the stuff that old Joe Kennedy produces in his backyard still before I'll drink anything with a St. Louis label on it.Eternally Under the Authority of Satan

Yeah, it's the same thing. Except they obviously couldn't call it "Budweiser" in the States, because they wouldn't want it confused with the domestic Clydesdale piss variety.
So they change the name, and like most "Americanized" imports, water it down, and then sell it for $10/6 pack (or worse)Beware of DogComment
