I could care less if it blew away. Kids today have no idea of the thrill to find a dirty magazine in a dumpster. You had old crabby ladies behind the cash register guarding the porn. If some older dude asked for a Penthouse they gave him the nasty glare like he was a pervert. Now it flows freely and is more raunchy than what was available. No porn quest anymore. It's too easy.

My question is when are people going to grow up? You have to at some point in life. You don't have to be 18 to get a pilots license. You can get one at a younger age. You don't have to be 18 to drive a car. 18 seems to be an acceptable age to the military that puts young people in positions of responsibility where a goof up can get other people killed and expensive equipment damaged.No! Porn isn't like driving a car, it's much more complexed then that. You have to have a certain emotional maturity which I just don't think people have at 18. And it's same for the boys, so you don't think that I am protecting the women.The heart is on the left. The blood is red.Comment

I was pretty mature at 18 because I was given a lot of responsibility. I operated equipment that could get you or someone else killed and even had a small business I set up by then. I think I had a pretty good idea of how the world worked from a common sense perspective.
Why is the porn industry in the US next to Hollywood? Naive girls go there to become stars and the pron industry picks up the rebound. Now you can be naive at 18, naive at 21, naive at 30. Heck you can be naive at 65. I know someone that age that just got took in a scam that they should have known better. These people even know better it's because greed and excitement takes over. They can't take the heat. Casinos know this. Yup. At the end of the day you are responsible for your decisions. Some people have better parenting and some are just smarter. Some people choose to be reckless. Their choice. I get tired of hearing people blame others for their own fuck ups. It's always someone elses fault. Maturity is when you finally realize there is no use in complaining because nobody gives a damn. Very few people care. Once you realize that, you take better care of yourself and if you want revenge remember the best revenge is living well. Put the past behind you and move on. Too many people are holding onto old shit and it can't be changed because what happened happened. I'm amazed at how many people want revenge on someone who is already dead. Amazing. It's why society doesn't move forward. Everyone is stuck in their feud or trying to fight other people's battles they shouldn't be involved in.
Honestly. I think that is the biggest plague of western society. We don't mature soon enough. Adults act like little kids and they want some big momma or big daddy to take care of them and pay for it all. It's the curse of wealth. People act that way because they have the luxury to do so. I grew up under hard ass parenting. You knew your were loved but if you were just being a crying brat you got a boot in your ass. If you complained nobody cared and you might get a boot in your ass for that too. If you needed love it was always there. It's called tough love.
Our neighborhood was that way. I think the thing was all the fathers were either World War II or Korea veterans. My dad fought in the Korean war. When he was 18 he went to war. My grandfather got drafted into World War I and spent a year in the trenches. These guys didn't have the luxury of make any decisions when they were 18, Uncle Same said over there. So those great years we enjoyed they didn't have and they had no patience for crying, spoiled kids who said life was tough and they couldn't make a decision. There was no molly cuddling. No sympathy. You couldn't complain and you better damn well be an adult at 18 or else! That's what I grew up under. Very different than what exists today. At 18 I knew I had it good and I knew it was special times. I went for it. I wanted to be an adult. Do you know everything? No, but common sense and street sense goes a long ways.
