                          He was really funny on SNL...not so much in the movies he made. Tommy Boy was quite good, but it was downhill from there. I dunno if he was "gone way too soon" because when you fuck around with heavy drugs you're dancing with the devil, and it wasn't like he didn't know the possible consequences of what he was doing. But it was saddening to see him die from his addiction. I read his biography too, and it was clear the guy had a real sense of self-loathing. A shame.
