Oh fuck man. The body comes with rough fiberglass sides like in the pic below. We filled it all in and sanded it for weeks!

Here's a pic of the sides when we were filling and sanding. I can't even begin to guess how many hours we put into this thing.

No, Berrien Buggy built the frame. I started out originally with a shortened pan from a 1969 Bug, but I scrapped that. The floorboards in mine are fiberglass. This thing is much stronger than a VW pan.

Pans are hard to find now. You need a big stamping mill to make the wish bone and central tunnel. I don't know if anyone is fabricating those. But they had to have gotten the center tunnel and transmission fork out of a bug somewhere.

They must be making their own tunnels. The VW ones have an oval shaped opening to get at the shift linkage. They must sell a few frames because you have to have dies made and they have to be stamped out. Not cheap.
