Unfortunately, Chickenshit is just so meh musically that even it's most adamant defenders don't really have a case for it.

1 - Satriani does essentially nothing on the album;
2 - It's like the most boring elements of Van Hagar x2;
3 - Mike phones in yet another performance;
4 - No obvious hit single in any of it, no standout track at all...

Honestly, the thing's just such a fucking snorefest that even the most pro-Hagar people I know are sitting back and saying "Man, it really was better back in the '80's, wasn't it?"

I think that kinda says it all right there.
