Well, it's been a helluva week for us administrators of the SHEEP PEN (and our allies). DIAPERS reign as SHEEP OF THE WEEK was memorable, but the poor baby didn't receive all the attention he deserved. And for that, we apologize.

However, we have bigger lamb to fry.

Now, first off, I think a comment should be made about our little incident this past weekend and early in the week. A certain...uh...female...took it upon herself to practically wage war and push her own weight around, trying to scream and have her way because she's been part of the online VH community for years. Good for her. So have I. So has MAX. I was posting at the Links since '99, and I signed on to this board before she did (though I didn't start frequent posting until relatively recently). This "person" did her best to make it look like she was a victim in this entire incident, and she had a few allies try and back her up (very quietly, in another thread). I will be glad to say, however, that she didn't have very strong support. I have yet to receive on PM or find a message indeed stating that I am the asshole you tried to claim the Army thought I am...uh..."person". MAX is also very well-liked, a great moderator...and most posters see through that crap. As Brett said, you were one of the biggest Dave-haters at the Links. Now you've been banished and sent here, and you still try to put through your pro-Sammy rhetoric while claiming sudden allegiance to Dave. Just as you made up your going to an Atomic Punks show, I'm sure you may be making up your little trip to Ontario. C'mon...going from Cali to Ontario to see a singer that a year ago you said you "wouldn't pay a nickel to see"? It's over, woman. I have no pity, no forgiveness. What I've seen this week has disgusted me. And I'm sorry for those that were angered or upset by it. There has been a lot going on behind the scenes. And all I can say is that there was no witchhunt. This happened because this "person" wanted attention, and found a rather negative way to get it.

I would like to thank the support of Linkers Brett, Olo, Seenbad, plus the incredible PEN ally ELVIS. ELVIS, I know we don't agree on matters politically...but it matters not. You are a great poster and a great guy, and we certainly fought the fight this week against a major Ched Head.

And, while it was expected that this person was going to be put in the PEN this week and be made SHEEP OF THE WEEK, I have decided that while that may happen (possibly next week), this week it is necessary to clean out our immediate trash (plus, I think this "person" would love to be put in the PEN right away, thus giving her more immediate attention).

So, on to thinner matters.

This week's SHEEP OF THE WEEK will be announced shortly. But I would like to give an honorable mention to a fucking idiot that my good friend Lou suggested (and MAX suggested a few weeks ago himself). Ladies and gentlemen, let's have a round of applause for the runner-up this week: THE MARD!!! Yes, this complete cunt is possibly the greatest anti-Dave poster in Links history, with maybe FABULOUS SHADOW taking second-place (some of us actually remember that, see). Well, MARD, you may only lurk here...but you are now an honorable mention. This award gives you not only a runner-up medal for SHEEP OF THE WEEK, but we are finally inducting you as a standard member of the Pen. Enjoy your honor...and remember that the David Lee Roth Army hates you. You are a cunt and a cocksucker, we think you are pathetic for insulting Diamond Dave (the one and only frontman for Van Halen) and we hope you one day see the light and realize how fucking pathetic your "name" sound.
